From Aspiring Nurse to Your Web Design Partner
If you’d told me I’d be running a web design business, I’d have thought you were crazy! Back then, I was 100% certain that nursing would be my entire life. From working as a caregiver for over eight years to attending nursing school at UH Manoa, I can honestly say that switching career paths was definitely NOT in my life plan.
While working as a caregiver, I noticed how much people struggled with accessing online resources, especially older adults. Too many vital websites were outdated or confusing, making it hard for them to find the help they needed. That’s when an idea began to spark—what if these websites could be more user-friendly?
She Believed She Could, So She Did
My interest in accessible design took me on a new path. I dove into coding and UI/UX courses, sketching ideas for intuitive, welcoming websites and even collaborating with start-ups on mobile and desktop applications. It was like stepping into a whole new world!
Today, I’m able to blend my caregiving background with my love for design. Helping businesses connect with their audiences through stunning, easy-to-navigate websites has become my mission. I’m here to make web design a positive force, one site at a time.
